The Magic Fountain

I came on the other side of the street I looked both ways, then crossed as I was walking I came across a gigantic fountain. I wandered around the fountain then went up to it. I looked around to make sure this wasn’t a prank. Suddenly I hear strange voices telling me to make a wish. I walked around and searched every corner to find this bastard. I started to think this fountain was fake and walked away as I took 10 steps away from the fountain a gigantic, huge windstorm blew right back to the fountain. I was so scared for my life. I looked everywhere for clues but I gave up and just sat down staring at the fountain. Then I heard a voice telling me to make a wish and another voice said “any wish, anything you desire”. I then had no choice but to make a wish, once i did nothing happened and I just walked furiously thinking that wishing well was a phony and that the voices I heard were all in my head. But then loads of money showered down the sky, I was super excited. I threw all my money up in the sky to celebrate. Then I saw a disabled man lying down on the street looking depressed. I shared my fortune with the lonely man. He then turned his sad frown into a happy smile. i walked hime excited and happy to tell my family. I felt I was living in heaven, this was the happiest moment of my life. I heard a clinking noise. I looked behind me and I saw a gold coin lying in a distance. I decided to give it to a random stranger and tell them exactly what to do.

Letter To Jacquez Chirac

I Sincerely need to ask you to stop dropping bombs. Thousands of people are frightened.

All of the countries  are going to take some drastic measures if you don’t surrender.

We wrote this letter in hopes that you will stop the detonation testing.

Mr. Chirac this decision is up to you.

We need your answer by tomorrow.

If we don’t get your choice by tomorrow there will be death penalties.

Ki O Rahi Tournament

Yesterday on Tuesday 13th June we did something exciting. We played in a Ki O rahi tournament. Once it was time, we gathered in the canopy to see which two teams are playing first. Mr Bell announced Kauri and Rata. In team Kauri were Vaha, Laura, Zenalia, Ramsey, Justine, Madelyn and Justin. In team Rata were Sonasi, Spencer, Jazzmin, Vili, Matalena, Nicole and Jaeden. Kauri ended up winning with 15 points to 11. My friend Willietony and I were yelling and shouting because our team won. Next match was with Rimu against Rata. I waited for my turn to play and just waited until it was 12 O’clock. Me and my friend were doing some stretches inside the classroom because it was nearly our turn to play. Then it was time for my team to play. The people who were playing with me were Willietony, Estherose and other players. I scored four tries and my friend Willietony scored only two. When it was the end of the Ki O Rahi Tournament we went to the canopy so the coach could announce the winner. Third place was Rimu, second place is Rata and the 1st was Kauri. Willietony and I were happy that our team won.

Nuclear Protest Poem

Gigantic ship pushing through waves of protesters

Hundreds of boats surround the shores

I feel so peaceful today

Such a beautiful day

To protest or fish

be strong for our country

I hear people praying

I am so excited

Shouts and screams

A sight to see

people yelling

Nuclear ships coming towards me

A Letter Of Advice

Hey T where have you been friend I missed you. Hows it going. Are you alright. What’s wrong I haven’t seen you in days. I’m worried about you. You’ve been avoiding me when I’m trying to talk to you. Are you dealing with family issues again? Just avoid the bad life and just be passionate about your future. Don’t get involved in your parents business. Try and focus on the things that make you happy.

The Beatitudes

Weeks ago we have been learning about Jesus being an advocate for, The Poor , The Sick, The Marginalized, The People In need and those who have been persecuted for righteousness. I think Jesus was preaching to the whole to advocate those who are weak and help them to realize that they need to learn how to be an advocate too.

Advocate for the Poor

HOW CAN I BE A KAI KORERO LIKE JESUS?

By taking care of my family and teaching people how to be Respectful, Kind and helpful. An Advocate is kinda like a bystander who protects you from danger. I can be an Advocate by giving others the support and encouragement they need. For family, I can be an Advocate by looking after each other, giving each other the attention they need to help them get ahead in life.
